We are all pleased to see our newest family member Ada Grace Wallace, the first grandchild in the family and she is absolutely gorgeous.

Today was the highest tide we have seen in Brockweir since we arrived in 2003 and has not reached this level since 2001. It saw numerous houses flooded and the meadows disappearing completely under the swollen river.

Celia and Ian spend a week in May at Martin & Jackie's place in Padstow, together with Bernard and Margaret. A lovely sunny and warm week in which to enjoy the area.

In the middle of May a festival was held to celebrate the effect the river has had on Brockweir over the years. A lovely afternoon and a great turn out for the village.
